Precise Review
Phonak, is arguably the hearing industry's leader in sound processing with its CORE technology. Phonak has released it in three levels; Premium, Advanced, and Standard. Vesata uses Advanced CORE.
Where Phonak offers the three levels of CORE in its model line up.
- Premium CORE is used in the Exelia Art, Audeo YES IX, and power aid Naida IX.
- Advanced Core is used in Audeo YES V, Versata, power aid Naida V, and pediatric aid Nios micro V.
- Standard CORE is used in Audeo YES III, Certina, power aid Naida III, and pediatric aid Nios micro III.
Explanation of levels:
- Premium CORE offers the leading edge of technical advances in noise reduction, feedback reduction, directionality, and automatic switching between environmental programs.
- Advanced CORE is slightly less advanced than Premium but still a very competitive sound processing technology.
- Standard CORE offers a way for people to get some of the most functional features of CORE at an affordable price.
When choosing among the levels of technology offered, we suggest looking at the amount of noise you are in on a regular basis. All of the technology levels will sound essentially the same in quiet conditions but the top levels will sound better and be more functional in above average noise conditions.
For most users, Versata is a great choice among the hearing aids available today. Versata fits most losses and works well for those who just want to hear without needing to manually adjust their hearing aids.
Versata will connect with most audio devices using Phonak accessories.
