Ask us about our special accessories package pricing for $250.00! The Moxi Pro is a high end addition to Unitron’s Moxi line released Spring 2012. Like the Moxi 20, it is powered by the Era platform, but now uses binaural spatial processing to target the direction speech is coming from. This technology, combined with the RIC feature, places the Moxi Pro at the top of its line and lets the hearing aid wearer get the most out of their conversations in even the most difficult listening environments. Volume Control ![]()
Volume control is generally considered to be a manual adjustment that the user can control. All hearing aids have automatic gain control designed to make soft sounds audible and loud sounds tolerable. This is done automatically within limits programmed into the device. |
Available with Remote |
On-Board Control Type ![]()
Controls on hearing aids usually have one or more of: 1. A momentary button used to change from one memory to the next 2. A button used to increase the level of volume 3. A rocker switch where pushing on one end does one function while the other end does another function 4. A wheel that will control volume |
Memory Button |
Remote Control Available ![]()
Remote controls for hearing aids are small enough to comfortably fit in a pocket. A remote control will enable more functions than can be put on a hearing aid itself. |

Features
- Speech Zone
- Enables the hearing instruments to automatically focus on any direction of speech, even in the most problematic listening situations.
- Automatic Program with SmartFocus
- Unitron’s Era platform, which powers Moxi, uses high resolution data from sensors in SmartFocus to focus on speech for optimal speech discrimination. In the default automatic setting SmartFocus is constantly refining the performance of the directional microphones. Era’s high resolution sensors monitor the sound environment and automatically switch to the environmental program best suited for it. Continuous adaptive adjustment of sound to optimize speech clarification in any environment is done automatically. The Smart Remote allows manual adjustment of programs and SmartFocus by using the comfort-Clarity adjustment.
- Natural Sound Balance
- When amplified sound and non amplified sound combine at the ear drum distortions or ‘artifacts’ can occur. Natural Sound Balance was developed to detect and cancel these unwanted sounds. The result is one clear, undistorted ‘Balanced’ sound.
- Pinna Effect
- The Pinna Effect is what gives our ears focus and directionality naturally. Unitron uses the adaptive directional microphones to mimic the natural pinna effect sound.
- Antishock
- A sudden impact sound is created when a plate is dropped. Antishock works like a car’s shock absorber to soften the sudden loudness for a much higher level of acoustic comfort when wearing hearing aids.
- SelfLearning
- The Smart Remote control enables wearers to log their preferences in volume and tone by using the Comfort-Clarity and Learn button. The hearing aid learns and migrates toward your logged preferences.
- LearnNow
- LearnNow is also a function of the Smart Control remote. Like SelfLearn the hearing aid programming in tone and volume can be adjusted. LearnNow is more advanced and quicker to adapt to the wearer’s inputs.
- Binaural Phone
- Phone audio signals are streamed to the other ear without a separate accessory, for clear, balanced phone conversations in both ears.
- DuoLink
- DuoLink keeps both hearing aids functioning in the same mode by communication from aid to aid.
