Domes come in three diameters, as well as two lengths for different insertion depths. Do an otoscopic examination of the client’s ear canal size. Based on the examination, choose an appropriate dome to fit the ear canal. If a deeper insertion is desired, choose the longer (L) dome of the appropriate size. If a shallower insertion is required, choose the short (S) dome.
